Right of withdrawal — 14 days
For distance purchases, consumers generally have 14 calendar days from the day after receipt of the goods to withdraw from the purchase without stating a reason, subject to the exceptions provided by law.
To exercise this right, clearly communicate your decision by email to business@boxeup.com before the deadline, including the order number. You do not need to wait for our authorisation to exercise a legal right.
After communicating your decision, you generally have a further 14 days to return the items. Contact us to receive instructions on the return address.
The statutory refund includes the amount paid for the products and the delivery costs corresponding to the standard least expensive delivery method offered, where applicable. The direct costs of return will only be charged to the consumer in the cases and under the terms permitted by law, following prior notification. The refund follows the timeframes and conditions provided for in the applicable legislation.
Defective items — statutory warranty
New movable goods sold to consumers in Portugal generally benefit from a 3-year statutory warranty of conformity, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 84/2021. If you identify a defect or lack of conformity, write to business@boxeup.com with the order identification and a description of the problem.
The consumer's legal rights are not reduced by this information.
Size exchanges
To check the availability of another size, contact us before returning the item. The exchange for convenience depends on availability, without prejudice to the consumer's legal rights.
